We assist our clients every step of the process in obtaining appropriate services and related services, accommodations, and modifications for students with disabilities, such as but not limited to learning disabilities, Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Cognitive, Memory, and Executive Functioning deficits, Speech/Language issues, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Psychological/Psychiatric issues, Behavioral issues, Medical Conditions, and Allergies, to ensure that students receive a free and appropriate public education (“FAPE”) in the least restrictive environment (“LRE”), where they can gain meaningful benefits from their education. This process may include obtaining a Section 504 Plan or an Individualized Education Program (“IEP”) with appropriate goals and objectives, in-class supports, in-class replacement, home instruction, vocational school, services until age twenty-one (21), or an out-of-district placement. We also handle disciplinary issues for special  education and general education students, such as suspension and expulsion hearings as well as transition and placement matters. We also handle some criminal matters that involve students and young adults with disabilities. In addition, we work diligently when there is a violation of a student’s Constitutional rights or a breach in the administration of services by the school district, to obtain appropriate remedies including but not limited to, compensatory education, compensatory damages, reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses, expert fees, attorneys’ fees, and costs.
